Melvin Bratton, a former University of Miami star Running Back who helped his team reach two National Championships. After being drafted by the Miami Dolphins and sitting out his rookie year due to injury, Bratton came back and played two seasons for the Denver Broncos.
Mel worked with three NFL teams, orchestrating the Drafts for the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, and St. Louis Rams. As a consultant to General Manager Vinny Cerrato, Mel was a key component in the signing of Deion Sanders to the Washington Redskins out of free agency. Mel used his playing and front office experience to scout and sign players such as Desean Jackson, Vernon Davis, Sidney Rice, Chris “Beenie” Wells, JaMarcus Russell, and Dwayne Bowe.
In his career, Mel has assisted in negotiating over $80 million in playing contracts and millions more in endorsement deals. Bratton posses extensive skills in relationship building, overall marketing knowledge, experience and passion in launching products and services that are an asset to the growing businesses. Bratton has international experience with projects in the Caribbean.
